• Google Account Information: Your email address and display name, obtained through Google Sign-In.
• Calendar Data: We access your Google Calendar events to apply color-coding rules. We read event titles, descriptions, and existing colors. We write only color changes to events that match your rules.
• Rules Configuration: The color-coding rules you create and configure.
• Usage Data: Basic analytics about how you use the service (sync actions, rule creation) to improve the product.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the calendar color-coding service you requested
• To store your rules and preferences
• To improve and develop new features
• To respond to your feedback and support requests

Data Storage

• Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform (Firestore)
• We store OAuth refresh tokens to maintain calendar access
• We do not store copies of your calendar events

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• With service providers who assist in operating our service (Google Cloud, PostHog for analytics)
• When required by law

Your Rights

You can:

• View and modify your rules at any time through the Caldense dashboard
• Revoke Caldense's access to your Google Calendar via your Google Account settings
• Request deletion of your data by contacting us

Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you revoke access or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token storage, and access controls to protect your data.
